He has signed numerous pieces for Vacheron Constantin over the years, among them portraits of the Emir of Qatar, the portrait of the Negus of Ethiopia and the children of the Shah of Iran.

• His very recognizable work often involved reproducing or reinterpreting famous paintings such as Le Baiser by Fragonard or La chasse au cerf by Paul Bril, whose original is housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
Vacheron Constantin is also known for its watches representing La scène de chasse, inspired by Princeteau, an innovative timepiece housed in the Casa-Museo Medeiros e Almeida museum in Lisbon, La Dentellière, inspired by Nicolaes Maes, a painting that can be seen at the MET, as well as Le Fumeur, which was inspired by an artwork by Adriaen Brouwer.

• Miniature enamel painting, a decoration that is found on watch cases or exceptional dials, has been practiced in Limoges, France since the 16th century. It consists of painting using vitreous colors. The enamel of the design is spread on either a gold or copper plate before being fired and stoned. Finally, the work of art takes shape beneath the expert hands of the master craftsmen. Each application of color is followed by a drying and firing stage. The city of Geneva, already renowned for its “Grand feu” enamel, swiftly made this singular and inimitable decorative art one of its specialties.

Carlo Poluzzi, a well-known enamel painter, signed many pieces for Vacheron Constantin. He collaborated with famous craftmen / craftwomen in Geneva.
